The World Has Always Needed Signs
Since the beginning of time, people have needed signs. Whether painted on cave walls, etched into stone, or nailed above the door of a general store, signage has helped people find their way.
The art of sign making is one of the world’s oldest trades, and one that every community still depends on. Whether it’s a new business opening up downtown, a high school branding its football stadium, or a city needing new street signs, someone has to know how to make them and make them right.
Today, sign making involves advanced tools and digital designs, but the heart of it hasn’t changed. There are no schools for sign making. It takes years of hands-on experience to do it well. Royal Signs has developed that experience over decades of working on signs and creative endeavors.
Our Central Principles
Put God first, consider others to be above yourself, work hard, be honest, never give up.
About Our Owner, Terrall’s Story
I got my start in signs back in 2000, working at a small shop where I eventually became manager. I stayed for 12 years and helped grow that business, but the promise of ownership never came. I made the decision to leave and start something of my own even though I had nothing.
At the time, I was living in my best friend’s spare bedroom with his wife and five kids. I had no tools, no money, and no vehicle. But I had a vision for my business. I spent everything I had on insurance policies just to qualify to bid on a wind farm job. My first sign was made on their kitchen table for a company called PowerSecure.

When I showed up on the construction site and was asked for my company name, I blurted out “Royal Signs.” My last name is Prince — it just felt right. The only problem? I had no legal business and didn’t even know how to send an email. But my friend helped me figure it out, and on October 18, 2012, Royal Signs, LLC was officially born.
That wind farm project ended up covering 56 square miles. I won the bid and completed the job in 5 days, allowing me to buy a truck, some equipment, and start renting a small office in Enid. A month later, I outgrew it and moved to Hennessey.
Since then, I’ve built this business job by job. I’ve made signs in the rain, on the street, in driveways, and borrowed shops. And I still treat every job — no matter how big or small — like it matters. Because it does.
Royal Signs is now proud to be a full-service sign company that designs, manufactures, and installs quality signs and graphics across Oklahoma and beyond. What makes us different is that we don’t just specialize in one area. We can do it all, and we do it with excellence.
Giving Back to the Community
Our goal is to continue giving back to our community. We partner with Hennessey High School to host student interns during the school day. These students get hands-on experience, learn real workforce skills, and get introduced to a career path that most don’t even know exists. We also work closely with Autry Technology Center in Enid and Chisholm Trail Technology Center in Omega to offer apprenticeships in graphic design and fabrication.
It means a lot to our team to see our work all over the state and even more to see students discover their potential here.
We care about Oklahoma, and we invest in its people. Every year, we sponsor school teams and student fundraisers — we buy the cookies and the Blue & Gold sausage, we donate banners when teams make it to state. This isn’t a marketing strategy; it’s who we are. It’s how we try to live every single day.
